The Wood Works plug-in for UAD-2 and Apollo interfaces gives you exceptional studio microphone sound from any piezo-equipped acoustic guitar. Now you can easily track multi-dimensional acoustic tones in real time — even in situations that would challenge physical microphones.

Wood Works also allows you to “re-mic” your guitar tracks as you mix — refocusing or radically reshaping them at any stage of the mix, even if your guitar was recorded in a less-than-perfect environment or a live performance.

Select from one of 16 voicings to match your acoustic guitar’s body — jumbo, dreadnought, or studio (for small body guitars including “parlor,” “double O,” and “triple-O”). Or get creative and transform your guitar sound to better match your mix. Let your ears be the guide.

  • The straightforward Neck and Body controls let you blend between Wood Works’ virtual microphones, expertly emulating their resonance in an ideal recording space. You can focus or widen your guitar’s image with the Pan controls, or opt to use a single virtual mic — providing endless textures and tones.

  • As your production takes shape, you can change the virtual mic setup to subtly — or dramatically — sculpt your acoustic tones after your tracks were recorded.
